It is with great pleasure and pride that Arctic Heli Skiing announces the fact that this coming season we will be in cooperation with one of the best ski makers in business these days, Völkl. Along with Marker bindings Völkl skis will be the mainstay of our ski fleet for the 2014 season and our guests will have full access to Iceland's only Völkl freeride ski test center.
This great partnership has come to be through the efforts of our good friends at Fjallakofinn, Iceland's only expert outdoors shop and Iceland's leading importer of all things mountain gear related. The latest edition to their awesome selection of gear is Völkl-Marker which puts them a step ahead of any shops in the Arctic North as far as selection and quality of ski gear is concerned.
Arctic Heli Skiing and Bergmenn Mountain Guides have from day one been in close cooperation with Fjallakofinn for all things gear related with our guides wearing Marmot clothes and using Black Diamond climbing gear to name a few brands that Fjallakofinn has introduced to Iceland. The addition of Völkl and Marker to the mix will only work to strengthen the great relationship that these companies have today as Iceland's only specialized companies in their respective fields.
The Völkl Marker test center will be in operation at our very own Klængshóll - Raven Hill Lodge starting this February and guests will also be able to purchase their Völkl Skis directly at our very own Fjallakofinn store located next to our brand new ski room, and the price will be right.
