Many years ago we were told by one of our long time guests that no one would come ski corn snow in May and June. We finally convinced him to try and now its an annual thing for him and his group as well as pretty much everyone else who believed us! For us as an operation it is actually our favorite time of year to ski on the Troll Peninsula with the 24 hour daylight and Midnight Sun. While it is summer in the valley we are spoiled with ‘’al dente’’ cooked corn snow on all aspects depending on the time of day, and a very low risk of avalanches allowing for steep to very steep skiing if one is so inclined. Throw in some mid day heli napping on a beach after a BBQ and a quick dip in the Arctic Ocean and you have yourself quite the adventure!
